Ways to Help

Below are many of the ways you can support AAP’s mission of providing nutritional support for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS. We rely primarily on the generosity of AAP’s friends and supporters to meet the enormous cost of providing more than $650,000 in food vouchers to our clients every year. We need your help to continue providing this critical and essential service to our friends and neighbors affected by HIV/AIDS.

Adopt-A-Client Program
Pledge a monthly gift of just $100!

AIDS Assistance Program’s new Adopt-A-Client program helps change lives one individual at a time. By “adopting” one of our clients, you can help provide one of our low-income clients with nutritious food. This program provides two $50 food vouchers – redeemable at Stater Brothers Supermarkets – to help one of our clients supplement their grocery list and stay healthy. The vouchers are not redeemable for alcohol, tobacco or pet products.

Angel Program
Make a one-time, annual gift with benefits!

AAP’s Angel Program is a one-time annual giving plan with pledges ranging from $250 to $15,000+. Depending on the level of the gift, the Angel Program also includes benefits like tickets to Evening Under the Stars, the VIP cocktail reception before the gala, and invitations to the Annual Fall Angel Program Kick-Off Event held in October each year. Attend an Event
Join us for amazing entertainment and events!

AAP produces and benefits from many events throughout the year. From our signature Evening Under the Stars gala to performances from Les Dames du Soleil and Les Originales, to the annual Wreath Auction at Streetbar, we couldn’t do it without our wonderful partners, entertainers, and audiences. By purchasing tickets, you help support AAP and our clients.

Planned Giving
Leave a legacy with AAP

Now you can support AAP’s legacy of helping those living with HIV/AIDS by leaving your own legacy to our clients. You can bequest money, property, or other assets to AAP in your will without affecting your current finances.

Donate a Product
Help more than 500 clients with your excess inventory

AAP accepts product donations from corporations, including clothing, toiletries, and household items. Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) are a company's first-quality, excess inventory donated to assist those in need. The benefits to corporate donors are both immediate and long-term; a tax deduction, additional warehouse space, and positive public relations. The next time you look at your inventory, consider how your company can help improve lives. We can give out items on food voucher distribution days, or include you product in our annual Stocking distribution during the Holidays. Please note, we do not accept used items of any kind, and we have a minimum donation of at least 500 of the same item.
